Does Chick-fil-A Take Apple Pay?

Chick-fil-A is a very popular fast-food franchise in the United States of America. The restaurant is present in almost all the states in the US. The franchise is not only popular, but it is also equally one of the largest in the country, and it prides itself as the creator of the Chicken Sandwich recipe. In tandem with its growth and development strategies, customers have been curious to know if the chain of restaurants accepts one of the trendy and secure means of payment, which is Apple Pay. This article seeks to provide a definitive answer to that question.

Does Chick-fil-A Take Apple Pay?

Chick-fil-A does take Apple pay. They are one of the first chains of industries to have adopted the use of Apple Pay, as an acceptable means of payment. This includes the drive-through service, mobile app order, in-store order, and delivery service. All locations of Chick-fil-A accept Apple Pay.

Using Apple Pay at Chick-fil-A locations in the United States is a very easy endeavor. As long as you have the payment system installed and set up on your device, you are good to go. However, it is important to mention that Apple Pay works majorly with Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Apple Smart Watches, thus you need to ensure your device runs on iOS.

However, if you have not set the Apple Pay up on your device, do not fret. The process involved in setting up Apple Pay on these Apple mobile devices is simple and easy.

How to Set Up Apple Pay on iPhone

For your iPhone, you start at the “Settings” option on your menu tab. Under “Settings”, you will see the Wallet and Apple Pay option, click on and start the setup process. You will be asked to choose your preferred payment option after you have selected the “Card” option.

Up next, you need to provide the details of your card, be it debit or credit. Apple Pay allows you to do this through two options. The first option is allowing your iPhone to read the card number and other details by hovering your iPhone over the card for a few seconds. The second option is manually inputting the details of the card. Either way, you need to ensure that the correct card details are provided.

Apple Pay would need to verify the card through a certain verification process after you might have accepted the terms and conditions for using Apple Pay. After accepting the terms and conditions, you are set to use Apple Pay for making payments.

How to Set Up Apple Pay on Apple Watch

If your preferred Apple device is the Apple watch, you can also use the Apple Pay system with it, as the setup process is as simple as that of the iPhone. The only difference is that you will require an Apple Watch linked to an iPhone before you can set up Apple Pay on the watch. On the iPhone linked to the Apple Watch, go to the Apple Watch app and click on the Wallet and Apple Pay option.

Then you can choose the Card option and select your preferred payment option, which is either a credit card or a debit card. Provide the details of the card as done with the iPhone setup process. The watch will also provide some instructions to link the preferred payment card with the Apple Watch. Follow these instructions and complete the setup process. Once completed, you can start making payments with Apple Pay through your Apple Smart Watch.

Up next, let’s learn about the process of making payments with Apple Pay at Chick-fil-A.

How to use Apple Pay at Chick-fil-A

To use Apple Pay at Chick-fil-A, you need to unlock your Apple Device. To do this, double-click the button on the right side of your iPhone. Unlock the phone using either the passcode option, Touch ID, or the Face ID option.

After unlocking your phone, hold it against the contactless point of the sale reader. The sale reader is usually found in retail and departmental stores and it is the same machine that receives your credit or debit card if you were to complete your payment with cards. Hold the phone against the sales reader till you get a “Success” notification. This means that the payment is completed.
