We collected data from over 2,000 locals in H-Town to find the best Italian food in the area.

Brisa was my waitress and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The calamari and the chef’s board were both excellent.

Tried North Italia in Houston and it’s consistent with the location I went to in Plano. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback about the restaurant.

This time around, I got the pollo frito with gravy, eggs, and potatoes!

Coppa Osteria

The place was packed with people for the Homecoming weekend. We were seated at 7.15pm and ordered our drinks. The Tre burri bread was good as an appetizer.

The main course was Spaghetti Carbonare and Pappardelle. Both were amazing.

The mushroom arancini was so good that it came in a vodka dipping sauce. The bread was also incredibly soft and had a great flavor.

For dinner, we had split the chicken parmesan and penne pasta with Italian sausages and mushrooms. The sauce was so light and the pasta was incredibly filling. The chicken was also incredibly satisfying. The other dish was also great with a side of Alfredo sauce.

Tortino is a dessert that consists of a layered chocolate cake and a rich and decadent mousse dish that is topped with hazelnuts. This dish was the perfect way to end the evening!

La Griglia

La Griglia is a neighborhood Italian restaurant that features authentic Italian cuisine. This elegant establishment features a variety of fresh fish, pastas, chicken, beef, and vegetables, as well as decadent dessert favorites.

La Griglia is my father’s favorite restaurant. When he visited me in the 90s, he would always order food here. This place has remained a favorite for me and my family.

We tried the Short Rib and Pizza sliders. Both were good and could have gone for a second round.

The Italian Margarita was not my favorite, but I switched to Lemon Drop Martinis for a more balanced drink.

The staff was very nice, and the food was good. The hostess was also nice, and the server and bar were also nice.

Great food, great service, and an award-winning wine selection. The atmosphere is impeccable, and the staff is very serious about providing the finest dining experience in town.

Antinori Muffato is a dessert wine list that is truly worth checking out. There are also some great wines by the glass.

The octopus was a winner- it was perfectly grilled and was lightly flavored with citrus. The Rabbit pasta was also a treat- it was light and the sauce was wonderful.

During training, I was impressed by how the manager and the Chef were both reassuring and encouraging the young employee. The guest satisfaction rating went up after that talk.

I forgot to wait in line but hey, hey, hey, hey, I’m waiting in line.

I’ve seen some negative reviews about this place but honestly, I LOVE this neighborhood. The food is always so fresh and tasty.

Unique is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to food. We got our food delivered through Door Dash, so we think next time, we will do dine-in!

My daughter was able to customize her pasta dish with various toppings. We tried a variety of vegetables and a cheese stick. The combination of the two was very satisfying and I would definitely order another one.

Pasta and Piadas are great if you want to get Italian but don’t want to get out of the house.

Spaghetti Westerns are often criticized and ignored by the public, but they have been embraced by fans. At Spaghetti Western Cafe, they combine the flavors of Southwestern cooking and Italian food.

Although I can’t speak to the restaurant’s ambiance or service, the food was great. We started with Fried Mozzarella, but they were good!

The pasta was a good size and had a great flavor. The sauce was also good with the pasta. The leftovers were also good.

Prego is a small, Italian-style restaurant located in Rice Village. It was established in 1983 by John and Tracy Vaught, who are both executive chefs.

Prego’s menu features a variety of Italian ingredients, including fresh herbs, red ripe tomatoes, and polenta. The menu is constantly updated with new dishes and seasonal favorites.

The clams, ravioli, and gnocchi were all incredibly good. The meatballs and spaghetti were a bit overcooked, but otherwise, they were fine. I’m planning on trying more of the raviolis.

The restaurant week menu was good, but I wish they had more dressing.

The first course was carbonara, and it was very tasty. The second was panna cotta with berries, and it was also very tasty.

Bollo Woodfired Pizza

After a day of enjoying the river, we were craving pizza at Bollo. We always support local businesses, and this place fits that description.

We also had the meatballs, the hummus, and the mozzarella sticks. The meatballs were tender and good, and the hummus was good.

The Carne Trio was a crowd pleaser. We ordered the Carne Trio with a few different toppings.

I’m from Chicago and rarely find good pizza in Texas. However, this was an excellent dinner experience and I would highly recommend this small business.

We found this place when looking for a dog-friendly place to eat. Everything was so good that we’ll be back!

Giancarlo Ferrara is the owner and chef of Amalfi. He brings years of experience in the best Italian kitchens to this place.

My friend and I went to Hrw for lunch, and it was the first of my visits to Amalfi. It has a great atmosphere, and its live music is always played.

The menu was filled with various breads and a few different types of bellini.

The filet of Mediterranean Sea Bass was divine. It was melt-in-your-mouth good.

My favorite fruit was raspberries, and I had to go with the mousse because I like my chocolate dark. The Manhattan was also good.
