Lupa was a great find that happened to have an available reservation. We went with a friend and enjoyed some appetizers and the burrata.

The pasta was amazing and the sauce was nice and Basil Pesto added a nice kick.

I was given a wine list and immediately ordered a beautiful white wine from the Bastianich Vineyards.

I ordered the Crispy Cod with a side of Lidia’S Braised Greens with Garlic. The atmosphere was great!

Once my food arrived, I was ravenous. The onion jam and tomato sauce was not as spicy as promised, and the cod was a bit dry on the inside. This was a shame since the fish was incredibly tender and the sauce was good.

I was not a big fan of Lidia’s steamed greens. They were a bit bitter for my taste, but they were nice accompaniment to a light dinner.

Malatesta Trattoria

Popular Dishes:

It was warm outside when I came here for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was very accommodating and quick to get a reservation.

Two plates of bruschetta. It was the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. The tomatoes were so fresh and the garlic was so fragrant.

This dish was made with garlic bread and butter. It was the start of a beautiful meal.

The food was great and everyone was happy with their food.

This dish was incredibly good, though I didn’t buy into all the truffle oil. The fettuccine was incredibly fresh and homemade.

The desserts were good. They weren’t as good as the pasta, but they were still good. The creme brlée was the best.

We paid about $65 for two people, before tip. The prices were extremely fair.

Loved the food and the atmosphere.

They start you off with a great bread, fresh mozzarella, and a spicy salami. I ordered the rigatoni, meatball, and prosciutto, and the latter was a bit of a melt in your mouth.

Carbone has been my go-to place for fine dining since I first visited. I’ve been coming back here again and again since my initial reservation.

The pastas were incredibly good, and the drinks were all incredibly good. The fish was also good, though I would never go back in their direction to order another one.

Carbone is truly an example of how to operate at the highest level.
